All,
The upcoming seminar - "'How to Pass the Promotions Exam" - and shinsa covering ranks 6 Kyu to Shodan will be held on the 11th and 12th of September in Irmo, SC. Anyone wishing to test will need to meet a few requirements: 1. Must be a current SEUSKF/AUSKF member. 2. Must fill out the included seminar/shinsa form (to include signature and rank recommendation from either myself or Michael Vanderhoof) and have it and all required checks to Page Wiley by September 3rd. a. Seminar cost is $10 with an optional $8 lunch (chicken teriyaki, shrimp, or vegetarian). b. Shinsa cost is $20 for 6-2 Kyu, $30 for 1 Kyu and 1 Dan. c. Menjo cost is $10 for Kyu rank if 17 years old or younger, $20 for Kyu rank if 18 or older, or $30 for Dan rank. 3. A firm grasp of Reigi, Kirikaeshi, Men Uchi, Kote Uchi, Do Uchi, and Shinsa-style Ji Geiko.
If there are any questions, by all means let me know.Attachments:

I've already sent our individual registration forms and checks. Do you think we can just carry these with us, or should we mail them ahead? There's no way to make the deadline at this point with these forms. Do you think that'll be a problem. The deadline for the forms is September 3rd, and, even though we're planning on going tomorrow night, and can get your or Michael's signature tomorrow, that still makes it impossible for it to get there by the 3rd. I can certainly Express Mail. What do you think?

The best option is, I think, for me to print out the form(s) - will you need one or two? - fill out the required portions, scan them on my home computer this afternoon, and e-mail you the scans. You print those, fill in what you need to, then send them via overnight mail tomorrow.
Anyone else have any better ideas?

Sounds good to me, if you don't mind. One would be fine. I'll request 3-kyu for me, and 4-kyu for Amalia from us, and I can fill in your recommendation for the same, if you agree.
